Welcome to #MondayMemoirs!
What is this? Well, this is just one of the things that I’m trying to do to keep me blogging and writing. Monday is for old stuff (or memories, at least) I have that I’ll be sharing to you. Kind of like #ThrowbackThursday, except not really. Meanwhile, I’ll explain the others the moment I post anything — #Ask Wednesday, #ThursdayTrivia (no mysteries there), #FeatureFriday. Don’t ask me yet about the other days. Maybe I’ll assign something, maybe I won’t. Will cross the bridge when, you know. For this Monday’s opening salvo, I am sharing to you my Multiply blog. Yes, you read it right…Okay, so not really.
It’s like this: As you know, Multiply was changing (for the worse, let me emphasize) and they said to transfer our contents to Blogspot if we wanted to. I did not exactly want to, but I needed a faster way to transfer stuff. Anyone who has read my “About J.Gi” pages would be aware of this. Anyway, why not just transfer here in WordPress? The thing was, I wanted a different approach to my blogging here, which is how I am maintaining this blog. I want J.Gi to be the more professional, more artistic side of me. My then-Multiply (which didn’t multiply but decreased until there was nothing) was for the younger, more immature, more emotional “Gracie”/”Li’l Dove” (I’ve shared before that these were my aliases). So to make the long story short, I used the new blog as an archive. The thing was, I hadn’t checked it for so long, I forgot the login details, even the email I used! Today, I had the idea to try to find it and voila! Got it 🙂
So I started re-reading and felt that I missed that old me, too. I began remembering things that I wrote there and felt that regardless of how I was, it was me, it still is me inside, and I want to share me. So here it is, the other blog, which I will not keep private anymore. Meet the more angsty, feisty, open, emotionally passionate, human ME. I introduce you to Li’l Dove Feather. Incidentally, I’ve kept the old blogname and it’s called…
If you want to get a little dose of Li’l Dove, especially of the ME 12 years ago (I can’t believe it’s been that long!), go ahead and click on the image or HERE. I have made public some of my early posts, or at least, those I kept.
Thanks for the support!
It is enlightening to to read older diary entries or posts. It is amazing how much we relate to that person and yet we have moved on

So true! Although sometimes, we find that we haven’t really moved on and they are reminders that we should.
